Here is your forecast for Wednesday, May 21st, 2025.
After months of minimal rainfall, FINALLY! We are seeing signs for more consistent showers and storms return this weekend. (Great news for the drought, not for outdoor plans.)

We'll wake up to lows in the low and mid 70s with partly cloudy skies. High temperatures are expected in the lower 90s with heat index values in the upper 90s and low 100s inland.
A weak cold front will be sliding down the state, which will offer a little more energy and cloud cover across SWFL Thursday afternoon. This front will bring us a few showers and storms Thursday and Friday, especially inland with westerly winds.
Looking ahead to the Memorial Day weekend, we have increased rain chances starting Saturday afternoon to 40%.
FINALLY! Rainy season is showing signs of returning this weekend. Rain chances will increase into the scattered range starting Saturday afternoon. (Isolated tomorrow and Friday courtesy of a nearby front.) Those afternoon chances will continue into next week. #flwx pic.twitter.com/KrytnXFf9U
